New Patient Registration
We regret to inform you that as from Monday 21st March 2022, Old School Surgery (Inc Alfriston) will be undertaking a temporary list Cap. This means that we will not be registering new patients at our Practice.
We are due to have our portacabins removed in the near future and have had to prepare for their removal but reducing and eventually removing all staff working from within them. We will continue to utilise the space we have at Old School Surgery and Alfriston, as well as working flexibly where possible, but the issue with medical premises in Seaford has been present for many years.
However, we will continue to register the following patients as long as they are within the Practice Boundary:
- Newborn or adopted babies of parents already registered at the Practice who are still living within our boundary.
- First degree relatives of patients already registered at the Practice who are living at the same address as registered patients and are still living within our boundary.
- Patients from care homes that we look after (details available on request)
If you fall into one of the 3 categories above that we are able to register. Please telephone the Practice on 01323 890072 and we will arrange your registration.
If you request to register with the Practice, but do not fall into one of the above categories, we are required by NHS England to keep a list of your name and details but this is NOT a waiting list and the Practice is NOT able to maintain a waiting list of patients who would like to register in the future.
Once we are able to commence accepting NHS registrations, this information will be available at reception and on the Practice website. We are in discussion with the Clinical Commissioning Group to try to resolve this situation as quickly as we can and we are sorry for any inconvenience.
If you are not currently registered with a GP surgery and are finding it difficult to locate one, please call East Sussex Clinical Commissioning Group on 0300 131 4425 and speak to the Primary Care Team or visit:
